Four things: a workspace, an inbox, a list of leads and a campaign. Nothing sends until you press Launch.
Go to craftnudge.com/login and choose Create one. Give your email, a password and a workspace name, and tick the acceptable use policy. The trial runs for 14 days and needs no card.
The Overview page then shows Get set up: connect an inbox, set up a tracking domain, import leads, make a campaign and get told about replies. Each step ticks itself once it is done, and the list goes away when all five are.
Open Inboxes and press Connect inbox. A Google Workspace inbox connects with an app password, and the form shows how to make one. Connect a Google Workspace inbox has the steps and the DNS records to check.
Any other provider connects the same way, with its own SMTP and IMAP host and port, as long as it lets that mailbox sign in with a password or an app password. CraftNudge does not sign in with Google or Microsoft accounts directly.
Once the inbox is saved, press Test on its row. Both SMTP and IMAP should say ok before you send from it.
Further down the Inboxes page, Domain health checks each domain you send from for SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX and the Spamhaus blocklists, and says how to fix anything that is not right. Press Check now.
Each inbox has a daily cap, a minimum gap between sends and some random jitter on top of the gap. The defaults are 30 a day, at least 9 minutes apart, plus up to 5 minutes. A new inbox starts at 10 a day and adds 5 a day until it reaches its cap.
A domain can carry its own daily cap, which every inbox on it shares. To warm a new domain up week by week, start its ramp in Settings, on the Sending rules tab. Why a domain's cap rises by the week explains the schedule.
Open and click tracking are off in a new campaign. If you turn them on, set a tracking domain in Settings, on the Workspace tab, so links carry your domain rather than ours. It is used only once the check finds it reaching CraftNudge over HTTPS.
Open Campaigns and press New campaign. Write the steps, add the leads, choose the inboxes it sends from, and press Launch. Your first campaign goes through each tab.
Replies land in the unibox, under Replies in the app. To hear the moment a person answers, turn on Telegram, email or a webhook in Settings, on the Notifications tab. Notifications has how.
